Saturday May 22, 2021
Saturday May 22, 2021
In this Episode we have a good old chat about the subject matter of the recent recruitment drive for adopters, Siblings. It's an emotive issue and as parents of siblings Scott and Al reflect on the issue from a range of perspectives and consider challenges that can manifest. We also look at the issues of contact raised in the Radio 4 interview as well as the well raised points on social media relating to the centrality, or lack thereof, of the adoptee perspective in that and the newspaper article later in the week.
There's also talk of pants!

This is our third Alternative Adoption Preparation Webcast and we invite Social Worker, Richard March, on to share his views.
Unfortunately we has some sort of technical glitch that impacted on some parts of his audio. So, rather than scrap it all Scott and Al did a short summary of the conversation and have included it for those who want to unpick it. We will get Richard back on as his knowledge and insight were spot on and we would love to have an unrestricted chat.
